For ColourNext 2017, the annual colour forecast for Indian interiors, at Wari Watai, we wanted to experiment with indigenous wool to make products for the exhibit. 

Harsil wool from Uttarakhand, camel wool from Gujarat, and some imported wool used in the rug industry in Punjab, for a beautiful range of natural colours to work with. Varying yarn thicknesses made for interesting visual texture, un-spun roves and hand spun threads with uneven ply.
