ColourNext is the annual colour forecast for Indian interiors. Targeting architects and interior designers through an exhibition, digital and print media, this excercise has been instrumental in positioning Asian Paints not just as a manufacturer of paints but a market leader and proactive visionary.

Humane: When everything we need is at the touch of a screen, we are yearning for the touch of true emotion. Beyond pings, likes and hearts, we are looking for genuine connections. We are returning to seek the human. Imperfect, vulnerable and beautifully real.

This was one of the themes where we explored a bedroom rich in texture and colour, forging an enduring relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. Shaped by contemporary needs and a timeless sensibility, the idea was to design objects that delight and tread lightly on our planet.

 

The soft cotton duvet is a patchwork surface of stitched shibori, natural dyed panels, highlighting the beauty of the material and technique.

Desi oon, from Bhuj, the local wool in its natural shade is had woven, on a tapestry frame to create the pebble textured cushions. Varying yarn thicknesse of the un-spun roves made for interesting visual texture, as well as soft to touch.
