The film is a playback exercise at Film and Television Institute of India. It is based on a poem 'Neend se Lambi Raat' by Naveen Sagar. I was involved in creating textile surfaces and textures to go with the overall mood of the film. After being a part of the numerous discussions with the team on the abstracted feelings that they wanted to evoke, I selected certain textiles for the set, and costumes for the actors. It was a great experience where fabric was looked at from the black and white lens of texture and pattern in conjunction with light.
